Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-09-27

What you're agreeing to

These terms cover your use of Kelbra, a service that connects calendars you own (Google, Apple/iCloud, Microsoft/Outlook, and other CalDAV servers) and keeps events synchronized between them. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Your account

You need to be at least 13 years old to use Kelbra. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. You must give us a real, working email address — it's how we deliver password resets and the sync notifications you opt into.

Connecting your calendars

You may only connect calendar accounts you actually own or have real permission to access. Connecting someone else's calendar without their consent is a violation of these terms, and likely of the calendar provider's own terms too. When you connect a provider, you're also bound by that provider's own terms of service (Google, Apple, Microsoft, or whichever CalDAV server you use) — Kelbra doesn't and can't override those.

Acceptable use

Don't use Kelbra to attack, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; to sync content that's illegal, harassing, or infringing; or to circumvent any plan limit through automation or shared credentials. We can suspend or terminate an account that does.

Subscriptions and billing

Kelbra's paid plans are billed through Paddle, our payment processor and merchant of record — they handle your payment details directly, and their own terms apply to the transaction itself. The Personal plan includes a 7-day free trial; a card is required to start one, and you won't be charged until the trial ends unless you cancel first. Canceling takes effect immediately — you keep no further access to automatic sync or connections beyond your plan's free limit once you cancel, and no partial refund is issued for the unused portion of a billing period already paid for.

Your content

Your calendar data is yours. Kelbra reads and writes it only to perform the sync you've configured, never to advertise, train AI models, or any other purpose — see the Privacy Policy for the full detail. If you use the "Direct Event Sharing" or "Propose an event" features, you're responsible for having the right to share whatever event details you send to another person.

Service availability

Kelbra is provided on a best-effort basis. Syncing depends on external calendar providers' own APIs being available and behaving as documented — we don't control their uptime, rate limits, or the accuracy of what they return, and a provider outage or change can affect sync for you. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, and we may need to change or discontinue features as this app evolves.

Limitation of liability

Kelbra is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including a missed event, a sync conflict, or data loss from a connected calendar provider. Where a conflict is detected, we surface both versions for you to resolve rather than silently overwriting either one — but we can't guarantee every edge case in every provider's API is caught.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings — this permanently removes your stored credentials, connections, and synced event data, and can't be undone. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, with notice where practical.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
